Danbury Police: Distribution Heroin

A man from the Bronx was charged with numerous drug offenses in Danbury Tuesday.

Danbury Police charged Elias Reyes, 35, of the Bronx, with three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school at about 9 a.m. Tuesday. Reyes was also charged with manufacturing or distributing more than an ounce of heroin within 1,500 feet of a school. Reyes was charged with third-degree trespassing, first-degree failure to appear, second-degree threatening, breach of the peace, second-degree threatening and possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school. Reyes was held on bonds totaling $53,500 and he was arraigned in Danbury Superior Court Tuesday.
