Danbury Police: Crack Cocaine WITS

Danbury police charged one Waterbury man with selling crack cocaine at the Danbury Fair Mall.

The Danbury Police Department's Special Investigations Division was investigating crack cocaine sales in Danbury, and got warrants to search Jeffrey Torres of Waterbury and his car. SID executed the warrants Saturday at about 3:20 p.m. at the Danbury Fair Mall.

Police found several grams of crack packaged for sale on Torres. Torres was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell. Torres is being held on a $150,000 bond.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
