Danbury Police: Crack Cocaine, Heroin

Danbury Police stopped Samuel Mills, 44, of Danbury on Mill Ridge Road at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, because they knew they had an active warrant for his arrest. Upon approaching the vehicle officers placed Mills under arrest for violating probation.

Officers also saw the passenger, Audrey Taylor, 42, of Danbury attempting to conceal items in her purse. Taylor was instructed to exit the vehicle at which time officers observed several baggies commonly used to package narcotics sticking out of her purse and on the floor. Officers located several packets of heroin and cocaine in Taylor's possession.

Police charged Taylor with possession of narcotics, once for the heroin and once for the crack cocaine. She is also charged with possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing project. Taylor was held on $50,000 bond. Mills was held on $100,000 bond.
