Danbury Police Charge One With Narcotics

Herbert Alonso was charged with possession, intent to sell and sale of narcotics.

Danbury Police charged Herbert Alonso, 37, of Great Pasture Road, Danbury, with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and sale of narcotics following an incident Saturday in Danbury. Alonso was held on a $15,000 bond for arraignment Monday.

In an unrelated case, Danbury Police charged Olga Mendoza, 41, Triangle Street, Danbury, with driving under the influence, faiure to drive in the proper lane, failure to obey a stop sign and failure to drive right following an incident at 11:39 p.m. Friday in Danbury. Mendoza was held on a $5,000 bond for arraignment Monday in Danbury Superior Court.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
