Court Docket: Burglary, Narcotics, FTA, Larceny, Burglary, VOP

The following information was gathered during the arraignment at Danbury Superior Court. Information about the arrest was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

Bond was set in Danbury Superior Court Monday for Mervin Bundy, 38, of New Milford, although Bundy was living in Wisconsin when he was extradited to Connecticut.

Bundy is facing, among other charges, two violation of probation charges. Together, he owes seven years in prison for the time remaining on those charges. He was held on two $7,500 bonds for those charges.

In addition to that, Bundy is facing charges of possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree failure to appear and first-degree attempted burglary. He was held on those charges by a $50,000 bond. The burglaries in this case occurred in 2006.

Bundy was also charged with third-degree burglary, criminal mischief, interfering with a police officer, possession of burglary tools, fifth-degree larceny, violation of probation and first-degree failure to appear. He was held on a $50,000 bond for those charges.

Bundy was also charged with operating under suspension, failure to obey a control signal, second-degree failure to appear, traveling too fast. He was held on a $1,000 bond for those charges.

Bundy was charged with second-degree larceny, violation of probation and first-degree failure to appear. He was held on a $50,000 bond for those charges.

Bundy faces other charges in Bantam. His case was continued to Oct. 1.
