Danbury Police: Attempted Murder, First-Degree Assault

Danbury Detectives and the United States Marshal Service charged two people in a brutal July 17 home invasion that nearly turned into murder. 

The victim was taken to Danbury in critical condition with a life-threatening wound, and he is expected to survive.

Police arrested James Hamed, 23, Bergh Street, Danbury, and charged him with home invasion, criminal attempt to commit murder, and first-degree assault. He was held on a half-million dollar bond.

Police charged Felicia Hallock, 21, of Sherman, was charged with first-degree/assault by criminal liability. She was held on a $100,000 bond.


This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty in court.
