Danbury Police: Assault with a Car

An argument. Somebody gets hit by a car. This information came from the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

Danbury Police said Zoes Lozado, 45, Prospect Ridge, Ridgefield, was charged on Saturday at about 11 p.m. with several crimes after she ran over her boyfriend. Police said Lozado and her boyfriend were near the corner of Patch Street and Maple Avenue having an argument in the car. The boyfriend got out, and Lozado hit him with the car. he was seriously injured and was reported in serious condition in Danbury Hospital. Police charged Lozado with second-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment. She was released on a $5,000 bond four Danbury Superior Court Tuesday.
