Danbury Police: Assault, Threatening, Disorderly Conduct

Danbury Police charged Manuel Navarro, 45, Orchard Street, with second-degree assault, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Police said Navarro and his wife were arguing and Navarro threatened to stab his wife to death. Police said he repeatedly poked his wife in the stomach with a knife and threatened to kill her. Navarro was held on a $100,000 bond until his arraignment Monday.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
