Danbury Police: Abduction Attempt

The Danbury Police are investigating an attempted abduction at noon Tuesday. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

The Danbury Police Department is investigating an attempted abduction on Tamarack Avenue at about noon Tuesday. Police said the female victim, 20, described the suspect vehicle as a black Chrysler 300 with a marine corp sticker on the rear bumper. The victim described the man driving the car as a white male, approximately six feet tall, having long sideburns into a goatee. He was balding, wearing a red T-shirt, tan shorts and open toe sandals. Anyone seeing this vehicle or having knowledge of the suspects identity is asked to call police at 203-797-4611 or the anonymous tip line at 203-790-8477.
