Danbury Police: A Van, Marijuana, A Scale, Zip Lock Bags

Danbury Police reported they received a call of suspicious activity at about 2 a.m. Monday regarding a van on Rose Lane. Police said when they arrived, they found the van and noticed a strong odor of marijuana. Police said a search of the vehicle revealed several zip lock bags, and inside the bags the green substance tested positive for marijuana. Police found a scale and two pipes. The operator, Michael Quinn, 19, of Brewster, NY, was charged with possession of more than a half-ounce of marijuana, but less than four ounces. He was charged with possession with intent to sell. He was charged with sale of marijuana. He was charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school. Quinn was held on a $5,000 bond for an appearance in Danbury Superior Court on Tuesday.
