Danbury Man Charged with Sexual Abuse

A Danbury man was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault after two adult women went to police complaining about sexual assaults that happened to them when they were children. The Danbury Police Special Victims Unit investigated the complaints, each made by a different woman in June 2013. Police charged Moises Carter, 32, Franklin Street, with two counts of first-degree sexual assault. He was arrested at Stop and Shop. His bond was set at $150,000 and he is scheduled to be arraigned in Danbury Superior Court Friday.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
