Crack Cocaine, Marijuana on State Street

Danbury police found crack cocaine, marijuana and cash after searching a condominium on State Street Thursday, and then charged a Brooklyn, NY, man and a Danbury man with drug offenses.

Police said the Special Investigation Division and the Community Conditions Unit were in charge of the search Thursday.

Police charged Rohnen Frederick, 30, Brooklyn, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school. Police said Frederick tried to destroy drugs during the search. Frederick was held on a $50,000 bond.

Police charged Williams Wormstead, 65, of State Street, Danbury, with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a written promise to appear.
