Cops Clip Red Bull Bandit's Wings

The arrest in Fairfield comes on the heels of charges in Danbury, Bethel and Trumbull.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on a charge of sixth-degree larceny after he allegedly walked out of Stop & Shop with nearly $60 worth of Red Bull.

According to a Fairfield police report, the man, Michael Dvornek, walked out of the grocerty store on Kings Highway Cutoff with the Red Bulls concealed in a black plastic bag. The Red Bulls were valued at $58.85, police said.

Dvornek was held on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 18. 

Police said he was also arrested for three outstanding warrants out of Bethel and Danbury for failure to appear.

According to the state Judicial Branch website, Dvornek has cases pending for sixth-degree larceny charges out of Danbury, Bethel, and Trumbull.
