Community Conditions Unit Charges Two with Narcotics

Two men, one from Danbury and one from New Milford, were charged with possession of narcotics following an incident in Danbury Saturday.

The Danbury Police Department's Community Conditions Unit charged Devin McGlothlin, 30, Fordyce Court, New Milford, on Saturday at about 4:40 p.m., with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school. McGlothin was released on a $25,000 bond.

At the same time, Danbury Police charged Ricardo Amaral, 36, Ward Drive South, Danbury, with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
