Arrests Made In Danbury Fair Mall's Black Friday Fight

Danbury Police charged three juveniles who may have been involved in the fight that led to nearly 100 people fleeing the Danbury Fair Mall food court at about 7 p.m. Friday.

While many people fled the food court in fear, hundreds of others at the mall never knew anything might have happened and continued shopping.
Danbury Police released the following press release.

Danbury Police said the department had received an overwhelming number of 911 calls in regards to the incident that occurred on Nov. 29 a few minutes before 7 p.m. Some callers reported a gun with possible shots fired. Connecticut  State Police as well as our local surrounding agencies provided support and assistance during the initial response. Soon after arrival, it was determined that a fight had taken place in the Food Court near McDonalds. As a result of the investigation into this incident, three juvenile arrests were made. 

Juvenile #1 was charged with Breach of Peace. Juvenile #2 was charged with Breach of Peace.  Juvenile #3 was charged with Assault 3rd and Breach of Peace.

The investigation has determined that there was no gun involved with the fight that had taken place.

The Danbury Fair Mall Security and the Danbury High School administration have been instrumental in our follow up investigation. Our ongoing investigation will continue to hold any other persons involved accountable for disrupting the mall on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
