Obituary: Philip Anthony Eannarino, Jr.

Philip Anthony Eannarino Jr., died at the age of 63.

Philip Anthony Eannarino, Jr., of Danbury, died on November 25, 2011. His last day was spent celebrating Thanksgiving at home with his entire family.

Eannarino was born on January 24, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Lorraine and Philip Eannarino, Sr. He graduated from Roger William's University with an Engineering degree and worked at Allianz in New York City. After college he married his high school sweetheart Barbara and they were married 43 years living in Danbury for almost all of them.

He is survived by his three children: Brett, Josh and Nicole and was lovingly known as "Grampy" and "Pop Pop" to his seven cherished grandchildren Brook, Cory, Kent, Cameron, Taylor, Tyler and Keith. He is also survived by his brother Paul, sister in law Robin and his brother in law Donnie Barrie.

He was an avid soccer fan and was very involved in youth soccer, starting up the Danbury Soccer League. He enjoyed coaching his children as they grew up and then watching his grandchildren when they played.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Wednesday, November 30, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family.
