Obituary: Melyssa Carvalho

Melyssa Carvalho, 19, of Danbury died unexpectedly on Friday, August 10th. Melyssa was born January 5, 1993 in Danbury, daughter of Marcus Carvalho and Josiane Andrade.

Melyssa was a very humble person and cared for others deeply. She loved to be around people and loved music, her pet dog, Haven and especially loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Melyssa will be missed by her sister, Laryssa Carvalho and her brother, Alan Carvalho.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brazilian Baptist Church, 234 Main St., Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to the time of service on Thursday at the church.
