Mary Lou (Horch) Seaman, died peacefully on Monday December 26, 2011. She was born and raised in Danbury, the eldest child to the late L. Donald and Elinor (DePalma) Horch-Doto.
Seaman graduated form St. Peters School and Danbury High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and mentor. Mary Lou loved family traditions and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Along with her husband Michael, Sr. of 46 years, she is survived by her three beloved children, Michael A. Seaman Jr. and his wife Heidi of New Fairfield, Paul Seaman and his wife Andrea of Danbury and Ellen Lyall and her husband Daniel also of Danbury; seven grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Analiese and Melanie Seaman, Jack and Reed Lyall and Quinn Seaman; two brothers, Donald Horch and his wife Carole of and James Horch and his wife Beth; and two nephews, Chris and Peter Horch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, December 29 at St. Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Ave., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 28 at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
