She was an exceptionally strong woman who was loved by her family, friends, and neighbors. She will be remembered as one who loved and took great pride in her flower gardens and at age 90 reluctantly had to pass the chore of lawn mowing to her son-in law. She was an avid reader and loved to share her favorites. She was a faithful follower of the U-Conn Girl’s basketball team for many years. A skilled knitter, she created many blankets for the newborns in the family and her church friends. She will live long in the hearts and minds of those who knew her.

Malva's family would like to express their Gratitude for the Danbury Hospital staff on 9E, 8W and 11E for the exceptional care given to her during her illness.
