Lorraine R. Conlon, of Danbury, died on Monday January 23, 2012 at Danbury Hospital following a short illness.
She was born October 19, 1942 in the Astoria section of Queens, NY, the daughter of Catherine (Fagan) Conlon of Astoria and the late Thomas Conlon.
A resident of Danbury since 1990, previously residing in Ossining, NY and New York City, she was employed as a computer analyst for Union Carbide/First Brands for 35 years, retiring in 1999. She was a volunteer at the Brookfield Senior Center, where she helped senior citizens become familiar with and use computers. She was an avid reader and cyclist, and enjoyed being in the company of friends.
In addition to her mother Catherine, she is survived by her sister Ellen Conlon-Block and her husband Richard of Manhattan, NY, her aunt Ruth Kilkelly of White Plains, and her longtime friend Joan Meredith of Brookfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday January 27, 2012 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY.

The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street Danbury on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm.
