Obituary: Charles Lane Jr. "Don"

Charles D. Lane Jr. "Don", 67, formerly of Danbury, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Bridgeport. He was born on Oct. 12, 1945 in Danbury and was a life-long resident of Danbury. Don was the son of the late Charles Lane Sr. and his wife Josephine (Capalongo.) Don founded and operated D&L Tractor Trailer School in Bridgeport, for several years. He most loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also had a passion for boating, motorcycling and dogs. He is survived by his children, Donny Lane of Andover, MA; Kevin Lane and his wife Laurie of New Milford, CT; Kelly Lane and his wife Anna of Brookfield, CT; Melissa Stokes and her husband Kevin of Naugatuck, CT; twelve grandchildren; Ashley, Jessica, Whitney, Nicole, Corbin, Mariah, Olivia, Danny, Kaitlyn, Lizzie, Julia and Kylie.

Funeral Information

A Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, at Cornell Memorial Home at 247 White St., Danbury. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
