Arnold E. Hill, of Danbury, died on Jan. 28, 2012, at Glen Hill Care Center. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth “Betty” (Falls) Hill.
He was born in Danbury on Nov. 9, 1927, to the late Joseph N. and Angelina (Wimmer) Hill. He was a mason (bricklayer) by trade and was a member of the I.B.A.C. Local #1. He loved gardening, his flowers and trees and taking care of the home he built at the young age of 28.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty; a son: Gary Hill and his wife Gloria of Kent; a brother: Nathaniel of Brookfield; 2 grandchildren: Kevin of Sharon, Ct and Kristy of Boulder, CO; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his many friends at J.K.’s (his home away from home) and all of his other friends too.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at 11 am at Wooster Cemetery, Section 17. A Prayer Service will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury at 7 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 pm until the time of the service at 7 pm.
