Alfred Clady, age 87, of Danbury, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Danbury Hospital.

Alfred Clady, age 87, of Danbury, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Danbury Hospital.

Alfred was born in Danbury, May 28, 1925, son of the late Alfred and Anna (Bahr) Clady. He served with the Merchant Marines during World War Two and had been a gardener and handyman at local estates and homes. He also worked for his brother Donald at Clady Auto Truck Stop in Danbury and was an avid baseball fan all his life.

He is survived by his brother: William E. Pullan of Bethel, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel Friday at 1:30 p.m. There are no calling hours.
