Elizabeth A. Hefferon, obituary

Elizabeth A. Hefferon of Danbury died on Oct. 24.

 Elizabeth Ann Hefferon, 51, born Dec. 18, 1959 and longtime resident of Danbury, received her angel wings on Oct. 24 with her last words being, “hello my love’s…”.

She had a loving spirit for those who chose to look into her heart to see it. She had a great passion for cooking. She loved being with and taking care of her mother. She carried the title of “Aunt Izzy” proudly and shared her heart, soul and love with her nieces and nephews, that will truly miss her the most. She will be deeply missed.

Her loving memory will live on in her mother, Sandra Grehl of Danbury; two brothers, Ernie Hefferon and his wife Brenda of Danbury and Eddie Hefferon of Georgia; two sisters, Tonie Hefferon-Khare and her husband Paul of Bethel and Natalie Hefferon-Sauli and her husband Michael of Newtown. She is at peace with her late father, Ernest P. Hefferon, grandparents and her first true love and her beloved dog, Harley.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 5 PM on Friday at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. Burial will take place at the direction of the family.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Cornell Memorial Home.
