Through Cartus’ relationship with Junior Achievement and local schools, students were able to participate in the JA Job ShadowTM  program, including teacher-led classroom instruction around key work-readiness skills such as leadership, teamwork and how to conduct a successful job search. The students then visited Cartus for a day-long mentoring experience giving them a first-hand glimpse into the world of work and the opportunity to apply their classroom learning.

During the event, students were given an overview of Cartus and shadowed employees. During the shadow, students explored the corporate complex getting a feel for the corporate lifestyle, interacting with business people. After the job shadow portion of the event, students experienced a job fair. The job fair included representatives from various departments including international language and culture, human resources, accounting and finance, client services, legal, and marketing.
