Monster Mini-Golf in Danbury, CT- Fun for the Young and Young at Heart.

Both adults and children can have a night of spooky fun at Danbury's new Monster Mini-Golf course!

I am a 23 year-old woman with no children. I visited Monster Mini-Golf in Danbury, Connecticut not with a gaggle of young nieces and nephews, but a group of 20-something year old friends in toe- and we had a blast!

Danbury's Monster Mini-Golf mixes all the right elements to provide entertainment for the young and the young-at-heart. The golf course is indoors, making it a viable option for fun rain or shine, and you will have fun! The interior decoration is entirely glow-in-the-dark and ghoulishly creepy- statues of trolls, witches, skeletons and more act as course obstacles while shining in the black light. Oh, and I did I mention a few of these statues move? That’s right, Monster Mini-Golf provides not only spooky fun, but some pretty impressive animatronics as well. Don’t be surprised when a tree-demon and giant troll suddenly come to life to chat while your lining up your next shot!

Monster Mini-Golf’s glow-in-the-dark wall paintings also provide a bit of hometown fun for us Nutmeggers, featuring silly outdated Connecticut laws and even a painting of a Halloween themed hat factory in honor of Danbury’s hatting industry.

Although I may be a bit too old to have my birthday party here, this location makes a great party spot for kids. Off to the side of the course, Monster Mini-Golf has two huge birthday rooms decorated to look like the interior of old, wooden castles. There is also a full arcade, and a hallway where kiddies can leave glow-in-the-dark handprints with their name and birthdate on a black-lit wall.

All and all, Monster Mini-Golf in Danbury is an excellent place to spend a free night with the family or a group of twenty-something year old friends. And it’s dark enough inside that grown children like me will feel safe and secure enjoying a little childish fun.
