Natalina Rullo of Danbury is familiar with PriceRite.
Rullo and her family drove to Bridgeport to PriceRite four or five times a year to stock up on fresh vegetables.
"I live a couple of miles from here. Now I know it's here, I'll be coming here all the time," Rullo said. "I'll be here a lot."
Rullo and hundreds of others shopped PriceRite on its opening day.
Bill Britton, vice president of real estate and human resources with PriceRite said the company visited Danbury numerous times before agreeing to open the store.
"This is going to be a great location for us," Britton said as he watched customer after customer walk into the store on its opening day.
