Friends of Danbury Cemetery - May Work Day
Do you enjoy working outdoors? Do you enjoy learning about the history of Danbury? Do you want to make a difference? Have you ever passed by an old cemetery, noticed the leaning and fallen stones, and think “Too bad someone does not take care for this place”?
The Friends of Danbury Cemeteries have been answering that question for the past four years. The Friends of Danbury Cemeteries will gather for our May Work Day on Saturday, May 26th at the Wooster Street Cemetery (behind the old jail on Main Street). Work will start at 9:00. Good for community service too. Please consider joining us in our
efforts to preserve the rich history of our city.
