Regional YMCA’s ESCAPE to the Arts Seeks Artwork for Upcoming Juried Exhibition

The Regional YMCA’s ESCAPE to
the Arts invites artists to submit artwork for consideration in their upcoming juried
exhibition. This juried show will run from March 22 through May 2, 2014 in the Art Gallery
at ESCAPE to the Arts, Danbury,
CT. There
will be a reception and awards ceremony on March 22 from 4:00 to 6:00pm.

Cash prizes will
be awarded in each of the following categories: Painting, Printmaking,
Photography, Sculpture and Mixed Media.  Interested artists must deliver
their work on March 18 between 9:00am and 7:00pm. Entry fees are $15 for one
work, and $25 for two.

The juror will be
Lisa Scails, Executive Director of the Cultural Alliance of Western
Connecticut. Scails is responsible for the development and oversight of the
Cultural Alliance, (formally the Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance) a leader
in supporting a vibrant arts and culture community in Northern
Fairfield and Southern Litchfield Counties.
