Rally to Stop the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)

The TPP is a new international trade pact, crafted by


multi-national corporations and currently negotiated in secret by the office of


the US Trade Representative along with 11 other Pacific Rim foreign


governments.  Over 600 corporate advisors also have access to the text,


but public and civil society are excluded. 



Implications of the TPP would:



Undermine food safety protections, dismantle the "Buy Local"


movement, inhibit access to lifesaving medicines and curtail internet freedom.
