Friends of Richter(FORE) Annual Breakfast Fundraiser with Joe LaCava Celebrity Guest Speaker

Danbury, CT: Friends of Richter Park, Inc. (FORe) invites


community members to join them for their annual celebrity and fund raising


breakfast. This year’s celebrity guest  speaker is Joe LaCava  a veteran PGA Tour Cady and the caddie for

Tiger Woods.

The event is scheduled for April 17, 2014,7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at


the Matrix Corporate Center, 39 Old Ridgebury Rd, Danbury, CT. This year’s


sponsors are Savings Bank of Danbury and Infinex Investment Services located at

Savings Bank of Danbury.

Though renowned for its golf course, Richter Park is also home

to the Stanley L. Richter Association for the Arts, Musicals at Richter, tennis


courts, hiking trails, and fine dining. Established in 2009, FORe was created


by the Richter Park Authority for the purpose of raising funds for the


implementation of the Richter Park Master Plan and to support activities and


programs at Richter Park, located in Danbury.

The Master Plan is a 25-year plan to address enhancements to the


park whereby all entities can contribute to the long-term generation of revenue


required to deliver a first-class experience to all visitors. Presently, only


the golf course generates significant revenue for the operation and maintenance

of all the facilities.

FORe is looking for supporters to sponsor a table of ten, or


attend the breakfast individually, insert an ad in the program booklet or


donate items to be raffled at the breakfast, all of which will raise money for


the Richter Park Master Plan. With an expectation of over 300 local business


leaders and community supporters to attend, this is a great opportunity for


businesses and people to gain exposure and to show their support.
