Local Citizens Assisting Occupy Sandy Efforts

Last week Occupy Danbury delivered 2 vans to the  Sandy Relief Effort and we going again this coming Saturday. 


We have set up 3 hubs for collection of supplies in the Danbury Area. We  are collecting items all week.

In the aftermath of the worst climate change disaster in New York City history, organizers from Occupy Wall Street and 350.org have teamed up to coordinate a people-powered relief effort for New York’s hardest hit neighborhoods.


A Common Ground, located at 33 Crosby Street in Danbury, Connecticut, from 4pm-7pm on weekdays.


Chamomille Natural Foods Monday- Friday  9:30am-6:30pm  58 Newtown Road 



Molten Java, 213 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, at any time during regular hours.

Current Needs: Blankets, Candles,Flashlights, Lights. Water, Food, Batteries. Diapers and Wipes, Gloves and Masks, Rubber  Boots, Shovels, Cleaning supplies and bleach. Trash bags, Serving dishes and utensils, Shovels and Brooms, Toilitries
