Area Singer-Songwriter Dave King to celebrate Danbury Days at the Danbury Library

On Saturday, December 15th Dave King will present a free concert at the Danbury Library performing music from his new CD, Danbury Days.  The CD pays tribute to what King calls “the glory days of Danbury” with songs about the Danbury Fair, the Danbury Racearena and the Danbury Westerners baseball team.  All of the songs on the CD were written and recorded by Dave King.

During the free concert, King will be performing his Danbury songs and telling the stories behind them.  He will also perform other original material and some holiday music as well.

King says, “I’m really looking forward to it.  The concert should be fun and entertaining - especially for anyone has lived in the Danbury area past or present.”

Following the concert, the Danbury Days CD will be available for purchase.  The CD is also available on his web site: www.davekingmusic.com and other major online retailers.
