Chris Herren, Talk for the community, founder of the Herren Project

The New Fairfield Prevention Council is sponsoring an evening with
Chris Herren on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 7pm at NFHS. Chris Herren is a
former NBA star, Founder of Hoop Dreams, The Herren Project nonprofit, The
Project Purple initiative and author of “Basketball Junkie”.  Chris will share his powerful story of
addiction and recovery.  This community presentation is appropriate for
students, parents and all community members age 13 and older.

Many thanks to all the families, local businesses and community
groups that have donated funds to make this presentation possible.  Continued
donations are still needed to help fund other programs we hope to sponsor in
