Finding a Greater Danbury's Free one-stop site for exercise and wellness resources is a parent's dream come true!

Finding a Greater Danbury's Free one-stop site for exercise and wellness resources is a parents' dream come true!

I'm talking about Zunity.net. This is a FREE website that provides families with all sorts of current information. It covers kids' sports, adult sports and exercise, various family activities, it gives you a list of wellness providers and the many events that happen in Danbury and it's nearby towns. Zunity covers Bethel, Brookfield, Ridgefield, New Milford, and New Fairfield.

For a busy mom like myself, this is certainly a frequently visited website. It focuses on what my family's needs and interests are. I have gone to other websites and there is nothing on their calendars. In Zunity.net, Barbara Cirella, the owner, keeps it up-to-date. All families with very young children to teenage children can benefit. Not only does it provide exercise resources, but it also serves as community outreach where people can give their opinions and become involved on what is being discussed; articles, chats, an event coverage or health topics.  My favorite article in Zunity.net is "Choose Play For Your Health!" In addition to that article, I feel the hot topic among parents are kids summer camps!  Barbara already has all of them in one site! Danbury is full of extraordinary agencies that provide so much information like; City Center of Danbury, Family Resources Centers like Mill Ridge and Morris St, Danbury Children First, Parks and Recs office (if you want HCYS information please make sure you email bestelacamacho@sbcglobal.net) If your focus is just health and fitness, this can also be your one stop site. You can contact Barbara at info@zunity.net  or visit www.Zunity.net
