This town has to stop fearing anything that's new or different. Towns that are successful evolve and grow to keep current. Hate to say it but Woodbury doesn't have much going for it in the bigger picture. Food is quickly becoming a main reason for people to come to Woodbury or to stop on their way through. Food trucks are a welcome addition. Instead of throwing in the excuse that this is bad for current vendors, I think it great for competition and competition means better value and offerings to consumer.
I'm fine with the ban on chain stores but really stop trying to freeze this town in time. This isn't historic colonial Williamsburg, it's Woodbury and the town is fading into obscurity.
Pull your heads out of arses and give up the "change can't be good because it's different" mantra. Woodbury has a food revolution on it's hands and they the city officials are doing everything to clamp down on it. It's okay to be known for things other than antiques.
