Union Savings Bank promotes Lynn Cossette to assistant vice president, branch manager of Goshen

[Danbury, Conn., December 30, 2013] – Union Savings Bank has named Lynn M. Cossette to assistant vice president, branch manager of the Goshen branch. 

In her new position, Cossette will be responsible for successfully managing all aspects of a full service branch including new business development activities, branch sales strategies, team building, customer service and community outreach.    

“Lynn brings 18 years of management experience to the Goshen branch, having previously held the position of Assistant Manager of the Litchfield branch during her time at the Bank.  She has developed many customer relationships and business contacts and is involved in a number of community activities, including the Litchfield/Morris Rotary, Treasurer for the CT Volunteer Services for the Blind and Handicapped and committee member for the Litchfield Holiday Stroll and Light Up.  I am pleased to congratulate Lynn on her promotion and am confident given her skills and experience she will serve the Goshen community well,” said Union Savings Bank president and CEO Fran Dattalo. 

Cossette received her Associate’s degree from Naugatuck Valley Community College and continues her banking education through classes with the Center for Financial Training.  She is also a 2012 graduate of the Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.  She resides in Waterbury with her husband and two children.
