Union Savings Bank promotes Christine D. Bascetta to assistant vice president

Union Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of commercial loan officer Christine Bascetta to assistant vice president. Bascetta is based at the bank’s 1057 Torringford St. location in Torrington.

In her position, she is responsible for developing and managing commercial account relationships, coordinating and underwriting loans, and counseling customers on products and services that fit their business needs.

“Christine has proven herself as a member of the Bank’s commercial lending team” said Union Savings Bank president and CEO Fran Dattalo. “Maintaining and growing relationships with business owners and ensuring we provide them with the appropriate product and service solutions are key priorities.”

Bascetta received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University in Worcester, Mass. and her Master of Arts degree at the University of Chicago.  She is a member of the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Leadership Program.

A resident of Torrington and an active member in the community, Bascetta regularly attends Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce and Litchfield Area Business Association events and recently volunteered at the Northwest CT Chamber’s Financial Reality Fair and a number of Red Cross blood drives.
