Union Savings Bank Foundation awards $2,000 grant to Artwell Gallery and Community Arts Center

[Danbury, Conn., February 11, 2014] - The Union Savings Bank Foundation awarded a grant in the amount of $2,000 to Artwell Gallery and Community Arts Center of Torrington.  The funds will support music and art education programs for children ages birth to five in the Torrington community.  This program will help encourage school readiness and parent involvement in the early years.  The Union Savings Bank Foundation distributed grants totaling $203,308 to 45 non-profit organizations in western Connecticut.  Pictured l-r:  Fran Dattalo, Union Savings Bank President and Chief Executive Officer; and Michael Yurgeles, Artwell Executive Director.
