Reggae, Ecuadorian Festivals at Ives Park in Danbury This Weekend

Beres Hammond, Maxi Priest and an Ecuadorian party at the Ives this weekend.

The Ives Concert Park in Danbury is hosting two cultural events this weekend, featuring Reggae tunes and Ecuadorian style.

The weekend begins Saturday with the second annual Westside Reggae Festival featuring Beres Hammond and Maxi Priest.

The two Reggae music legends headline with Skantones and MSM Band, as well as DJ Inferno, Asylum Riddims and DJ Legin.

The next morning at 10 a.m. starts the Ecuadorian Festival, with ethnic clothes, music, folk dances and food. The festival goes until 8 p.m. Sunday, with tickets available at the gate.
