Aztec Two Step at the Palace

Rex Fowler told the Palace Theater audience he was taking his last shot at a music career in 1972, when he drove from Canaan, Me., to Boston to play at an open mike night. On that night, he met Neal Shulman, and the pair became Aztec Two-Step, an acoustic duo who celebrated their 40th year together in 2012.
If they hadn't met that night in 1972, Rex told the audience Saturday night he would have returned to school and become a teacher.
Aztec Two Step played numerous old favorites and a few selections from their lastest CD to a nearly sold out theater.
