Richard Gere Introduces His Holiness the Dalai Lama at WCSU (Video)
The Dalai Lama spoke at Western Connecticut State University's Westside Campus Thursday to a full house, which slowed traffic on Mill Plain Road and in downtown Danbury Thursday afternoon.
Actor Richard Gere, who met the Dalai Lama 30 years ago, introduced him at Western Connecticut State University's Westside Campus Thursday in the first of his two lectures.
The Dalai Lama will speak Friday at 9:30 a.m., so expect delays on Mill Plain Road and downtown near Kennedy Avenue.
