Only 100 Tickets Available for Annual Danbury Museum Garden Party

Third annual Garden Party and Silent Auction to benefit the preservation of Danbury's history.

On Saturday, June 21, the Friends of The Danbury Museum & Historical Society will host their third Annual Garden Party Fundraiser from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This year's event will be held in a local, private garden, owned by a member of The Danbury Garden Club. Enjoy food, refreshments and a guided tour while strolling this beautiful location. A Silent Auction will be held with over 100 items; handcrafted and sports-related items, donations from local businesses and restaurants, as well as a wide variety of unique offerings donated by a number of distinctive Connecticut museums.

“This particular fundraiser has become a favorite in that has been held at a different garden each year,” said Joretta Kilcourse, President of Friends of the Danbury Museum & Historical Society.

Tickets are limited to 100 guests and are just $20 per person. They are available at the museum during open hours or via the Paypal link at www.danburymuseum.org.

Please note 'Garden Party' when purchasing your tickets via Paypal.

“We're grateful to our Garden Party Committee, local businesses and all of the wonderful Connecticut museums who have responded to our call for donations for the Silent Auction,” Kilcourse said. “It will be a lovely afternoon and we encourage everyone to come out and support their hometown museum.  And remember, there are only 100 tickets available.”
