The tables were in place Tuesday, and the books were delivered in huge piles, each box marked for its destination, Fiction "G" or Erotica for the annual Friends of the Danbury Public Library book sale.
On Wednesday, volunteers will move the boxes to the right tables. Thursday and Friday volunteers will display the books on the tables.
The sale runs Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Pal Building, 35 Hayestown Road, Danbury, across from Candlewood Town Park.
The Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with admission for collectors charged from 8 to 9 a.m. The Sunday hours start at 10 a.m. Monday is the bag day. For detailed information, call the Danbury Public Library at 203-797-4505.
