Farmers Have a Corner on the Market

Summer is almost upon us and farmers across Connecticut are gearing up to share their local produce, dairy, breads and more with hungry locavores at weekly farmer’s markets.

Danbury's Farmers Market begins next week, on Friday, June 27, 2014. The market runs on Fridays from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. from June 27 - October 31 at Kennedy Park on the corner of Main Street and Kennedy.

CT Grown produce, shoreline shellfish, fresh bread and some specialty foods will be sold. WIC certificates, senior coupons, SNAP and debit cards are accepted. WIC, Senior and SNAP matching programs are available.
