Danbury, CT- Friends of Richter Park, Inc. (FORe) is holding its second annual fundraiser raffle. Friend’s of Richter Park is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization created to support and raise funds for the Richter Park Master redevelopment plan. Scott Ward, Director of Golf at Richter, has coordinated this year’s raffle. Tickets will go on sale this week.  Only 500 tickets will be sold. 

Raffle prizes include a season pass for golf at Richter Park Golf Course, a foursome of golf at Ridgewood Country Club, a foursome of golf at Rock Ridge Country Club, a set of Callaway Irons, and four private lessons with Richter Park Head Golf Professional Brian Gehan. All golf outings and the season pass include carts. The drawing is scheduled for November 13, 2012. Think spring golf and help the community by supporting Richter Park.

Richter Park does not receive city funding and needs community supporters to help raise money to improve the Richter House, the golf course, tennis courts and hiking trails.
