The Danbury Museum and Historical Society is celebrating an exhibit featuring the city's long and remarkable history of its police and fire departments.
The exhibit, "Hometown Heroes: An Historic Tribute the Danbury Police & Fire Departments," is now open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., through November 9. This exhibit tells the tale of the birth and development of both departments in the city of Danbury and honors the city's Hometown Heroes, the men and women who serve and protect the citizens that live here in countless ways.
