Dalai Lama Visit: Best Places to Eat in Danbury

If you're traveling to WestConn from out of town, you'll want to take a look at this list, courtesy of local folks.

The Dalai Lama is slated to draw thousands of people to Danbury later this week—and that means restaurants will be packed.

If you're one of the folks visiting from out of town, you may want to have an idea of which eateries you plan to hit between addresses from the Dalai Lama. His Holiness, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists, is set to speak at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and again at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Western Connecticut State University's Westside Campus.

It's interesting that a couple of these places received poor inspection grades in yesterday's Patch.

Midtown Cafe is a great spot located right across the street from WCSU's Midtown Campus at 172 White St. (Just recieved a 95 on their last inspection!) Why aren't they on this list??
