Morello Italian Bistro to Launch Prix-Fixe Lunch Menu on Father's Day

Morello to thank dads with surprise sweets and more when they dine on Father’s Day

This Father’s Day, dads will be treated to Morello Italian Bistro’s new two-course prix fixe lunch menu, which will be offered seven days a week beginning Sunday, June 15 at the rustic Italian restaurant, located in the heart of Greenwich Avenue. Father’s Day serves as the launch of Morello’s prix-fixe lunch, available throughout the summer in addition to Morello’s traditional Italian and Mediterranean menu items.  

Guests will be able to choose from two home-inspired Italian classics for $24 per person, including first course choices of:

Pappa al pomodoro: crushed tomato soup with  basil and Tuscan bread

Vitello tonnato: sliced veal with parmesan, caper berries, arugula and a creamy tuna mayonnaise

Second course choices include:

Fettuccine primavera: hand-rolled pasta with fava beans, peas, asparagus and fresh tomato tossed in an olive oil emulsion

Beef involtini: beef stuffed with mozzarella and black olives with roasted potatoes in marinara

“Our prix fixe specials are a great lunchtime option whether taking a quick break from work or enjoying a leisurely lunch out on the patio with friends,” said Jimmy Branigan, general manager of Morello. “Our talented kitchen staff has created a menu of delicious dishes that are perfect for the summer months.”

Dads that join Morello on Father’s Day will also receive sweets prepared specially by pastry chef Amanda Atkinson and a card entitling them to a complimentary dessert on their next visit. “Many restaurants give out roses on Mother’s Day, so we wanted to do a little something extra for dads this Father’s Day,” added Branigan.
