Our festival has been a source of good food and heritage in Danbury for over twenty years. This year’s event will not only have the great authentic Italian food but rides for the children as well. Roberto Bongo explains, “We are proud of our heritage and show it through our preparation of our foods. We came to America to make a better life for our families and live the dream everyday”.

Our other attraction are displays of artifacts from 9-11 as well as veterans memorabilia. Private collections from the Twin Towers will be on display for the first time in Connecticut. All donations will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Roberto Bongo states, “We are also very proud to be Americans and will never forget the 9-11 tragedy”.

Our Lodge on Columbus Ave. off of Kenosia Ave. is part of the Sons of Italy (OSIA). “We are the largest order in Connecticut”, says Bruno Tropeano our President.

Our authentic Italian food includes the standard Sausage and Peppers, Pizza Fritta, Zeppole, Porchetta, Chicken Parmigiana, Linguine with Clam Sauce, Tripe for you real Italians, Ziti and Meatballs, Meatball Grinder, Eggplant Grinder, pastries and of course gelato from Gelato Fiasco of Maine.

Our music will include That’s Entertainment DJ and a special guest on Sunday, Jack Lynn singing Dino songs for your enjoyment. Liz LoStocco Shannon our chairperson, “welcomes all of the Community to our festival”.

Parking and Admission are no charge.

Hours of the event are:
